Domestic Abuse helpline and referral service

Our domestic abuse helpline and referral service is open to people of any gender who are experiencing domestic abuse of any kind.

From the start of the first lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, we received a dramatic increase in calls to Radio Sangam detailing experiences of domestic abuse. As a result, we now offer support through a website, helpline and referral service, helping many people access the advice and support services that can help them escape from abusive situations.

This service has been partly supported by funding from the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Safer Communities Fund.
